What's new at NALSAR Hyderabad? Applications are open for CLAT 2022, and the last date to apply is May 9, 2022. The entrance exam will be conducted on June 19 (between 2:00 and 4:00 pm) for both UG and PG programmes, initially scheduled for May 8. Additionally, MBA admission is open for 2022.

NALSAR Highlights 2022

The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, also known as NALSAR University of Law is a National Law University located in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. The University was established in 1998 by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislature. It is popularly known as NALSAR or NALSAR Hyderabad and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with an “A” grade with a score of 3.60 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The University offers full-time UG, PG, doctorate, and diploma programmes in various fields of Law and Management. Apart from the full-time programmes, the University also offers part-time programmes under the NALSAR Directorate of Distance Education (DDE). The full-time courses are offered under nine different centres, namely Centre for Constitutional Law, Centre for Family Laws, Centre for Legal Philosophy, and more. NALSAR Courses and Fees 2022

At the UG level, the University offers a five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons) whereas, LLM, MBA programmes are offered at the PG level. Apart from LLM and MBA, the University also offers Master's Degree in Aviation Law & Transport Management (MALATM) and Master's Degree in Space & Telecommunication Laws (MSTL) with a duration of two years.

NALSAR also offers PhD/ MPhil programme under various specialisations and a PG diploma programme in four different specialisations. Apart from the full-time courses, the University also offers MA programme in 7 specialisations and One-Year Advanced Diploma Programme in 15 specialisations, including Security & Defence Law, Animal Protection, Criminal Law, Humanitarian Law and more under the DDE. NALSAR Placements 2021

Nalsar University of Law placements are conducted via its Recruitment Co-ordination Committee (RCC), whereas Nalsar (NLU Hyderabad) placements for LLM are arranged by the LRCC. Similarly, TPAC or Training and Placement Advisory Cell organise Nalsar University MBA placements and internships.

According to a media report, 100 per cent placement rate with total placements of more than 73 during NALSAR placements. Major recruiters that took part in the placements process included ITC Ltd, Reliance Mutual Fund, Khaitan & Co., ICICI Bank, among others.

NALSAR Scholarships 2022

The University provides two scholarships which include means based scholarships and means-cum-merit based scholarships. These two scholarships are called as Scedule I and Schedule II scholarships. Interested candidates need to fill out an application form to apply for these scholarships. These scholarships or fee concession is offered to BA LLB (Hons), LLM and MBA programme. The scholarships are given under three categories, namely fee concession, scholarship and loan support programme. The amount of the scholarship depends upon the annual family income and the marks obtained by the students. Details regarding these scholarships are mentioned below:

NALSAR Infrastructure

NALSAR University of Law is sprawling over an area of 55 acres with a variety of trees, sprawling lawns, and tastefully designed architecture—to a wildlife resort. The facilities include spacious dining halls, residential complexes (one each for men and women), a stadium, tennis lawns and even a small pond of its own. Also at night, banter shifts to the night canteens, of which there is one in each hostel complex.
