Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University is a state-level university that is located in Gwalior. The University offers BA and BA (Hons) programmes under more than 10 specialisations. The duration of both the programmes is three years each. These programmes cover subjects, such as Vocal, Tabla, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Painting, Sculpture, etc. Eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

Eligibility criteria: Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board.

The University also offers BDes and BFA programmes at the UG level. BDes is offered in five different specialisations, whereas BFA is offered in three different specialisations. The University offers a full-time two-year MA programme in Music, Dance, Arts and Theatre. It is divided into four semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. All the specialisations along with the eligibility criteria are given below:

Master of Music (MMus), Master of Dance (MDance), Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Master of Performing Arts (MPA) are also offered at the PG level. The duration of all these programmes is two years each. These programmes will deal with Kathak & Bharatnatyam, musical instruments like Violin, Tabla, and various aspects of Painting & Applied Arts. Apart from UG and PG programmes, it also offers a PhD programme in four different specialisations. PhD is offered with a minimum course duration of three years and a maximum of six.
