Description	Type
University-wide Scholarships: RV University will provide 100% scholarship for academically eligible students who have lost one or both parents due to COVID-19. Ten (10) students will be covered under this scholarship on a first-come-first-served basis in any of the schools	Scholarship
(A) School Specific Scholarships (I) School of Economics & Finance: The scholarship will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. Students will be provided scholarship based on the score obtained in 12th or PUC or equivalent exam as per conditions below: 1) For BBA, B.Com., B.A. Eco students (First Year Only): If score is >95%, amount equal to 100% of 1st year fees will be granted to 10 students Estimated Amount: INR 18,00,000 2) For BBA, B.Com. students (First Year Only): If score is 80%<95%, amount equal to 25% of 1st year fees will be granted to 25 students Estimated Amount: INR 11,25,000 3) For B.S. Eco. students (First Year Only): If score is 80%<95%, amount equal to 25% of 1st year fees will be granted to 15 students Estimated Amount: INR 36,00,000 Note: Hostel fees, transportation fees, exam fees will have to be paid by the student Renewal subject to outstanding performance in 1st year. II) School of Liberal Arts & Sciences: Candidates who fulfil the academic eligibility requirements and have demonstrated exceptional co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at national and international level shall be eligible for scholarship. The amount of scholarship shall be commensurate with the achievements and shall be decided by the Scholarship Committee of RV University. A sum of INR 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs) shall be utilized to provide scholarship for the AY 2021-22.	Scholarship
(III) School of Design A sum of INR 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs) shall be utilized to provide the following scholarship for the AY 2021-22 on a first-come-first-served basis. For B.Des. category (1st Year Only): Students will be provided scholarship based on marks/ rank obtained in Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) & Design Aptitude Test (DAT) as per conditions below: If UCEED Rank is between 1 to 400 and NIT-DAT Marks is between 81 to 200, amount equal to 50% of 1st year fees will be granted If UCEED Rank is between 401 to 800 and NIT-DAT Marks is between 66 to 80, amount equal to 30% of 1st year fees will be granted If UCEED Rank is between 801 to 1500 and NIT-DAT Marks is between 51 to 65, amount equal to 15% of 1st year fees will be granted Estimated Amount: INR 10,00,000 (Approx. 10 students will benefit) Note: Hostel fees, transportation fees, exams fees will have to be paid by the student Renewal subject to outstanding performance in 1st year. For M.Des. category (1st Year Only): Students will be provided scholarship based on marks/ rank obtained in Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) & Design Aptitude Test (DAT) as per conditions below: If CEED Rank is between 1 to 400 and NIT-DAT Marks is between 81 to 200, amount equal to 50% of 1st year fees will be granted If CEED Rank is between 401 to 800 and NIT-DAT Marks is between 66 to 80, amount equal to 30% of 1st year fees will be granted If CEED Rank is between 801 to 1500 and NIT-DAT Marks is between 51 to 65, amount equal to 15% of 1st year fees will be granted Estimated Amount: INR 5,00,000 (Approx. 7 students will benefit) Note: Hostel fees, transportation fees, exams fees will have to be paid by the student Renewal subject to outstanding performance in 1st year. (B) Other University-wide Scholarships RV Alumni Scholarship: Students who have studied at any of the RV institutions in the past and have received their first degree/certificate are eligible to receive a scholarship of INR 25,000/- per annum in the first year. They will continue to receive the scholarship in the second/third/fourth year (as appropriate, depending on the program) if they pass in all the courses in that academic year, maintain good attendance and conduct.
