What's new at Shivaji University? The State Common Entrance Test (CET), Maharashtra, has revised the exam dates and application dates for MH CET Law 2022 for the third time. Now, candidates can apply before June 22 for both courses. The entrance exams will now be held on August 02, 2022, for the five-year LLB course, and on August 03 and 04, 2022 for the three-year LLB course. Also, the last date of online application for regular and distance courses is May 10, 2022. The entrance exam will be conducted from May 25, 2022 to May 29, 2022 (tentative).

The University accepts the scores of MHT CET (earlier called DTE CET), for admission to technical courses like BTech and MCA, and MAH CET for MBA admission. For non-professional courses, like BA, BSc, MSW, MA, etc., the university conducts its own entrance test. Shivaji University, through its various departments and affiliated institutes, offers a plethora of UG, PG, Diploma and PhD courses across streams. The university also offers a five-year Integrated LLB programme through its eight affiliated Law colleges. Admission to LLB programme is based on MHT CET Law marks, followed by MHT CET Law Counselling (CAP Counselling), which is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of MHT CET Law 2021 result to manage the seat allotment process.

The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The MHT CET Law cut offs are generally declared in four rounds of CAP Counselling based on closing marks. The cutoffs are released for the MH and OMS quota, which are further divided into Open, Open-EWS, SC, OBC, etc. categories.

Note: Candidates must note that the closing cut off marks are declared out of 150.
